VINYL VERSION (out December 14, 2018): Ultra clear vinyl (125 copies) or standard black vinyl (215 copies), inc. printed inner sleeve + download code and optional silkscreen art print. PRE-ORDER started November 8 here: www.deadwaxrecords.es/releases.php

DAYS OF SORROW’s first 12” EP ‘Remembering the Days’ was produced by Frank Becking and published by Tollhaus Records in the late 1984. After a lot of live gigs, a line-up change and a new record contract with Rough Trade Records, a full ten track album was recorded in December 1986. But the album never materialized and another 12” EP entitled ‘A Thousand Faces’ was released instead in 1987, featuring just three of the newly recorded songs, while the rest remained unreleased. Shortly after, just ahead of a scheduled Spanish tour, DoS disbanded.

Considered as minimalistic, electronic, dark new wave classics, both DoS 12” EPs are highly sought after nowadays, fetching insane prices when seen for sale. For this reason and our love for the band we are immensely proud of making these two EPs available again after more than 30 years, in the form of a compilation album entitled ‘Whatever Happens’ which also INCLUDES TWO OF THE UNRELEASED 1986 SONGS that were shelved and forgotten. All songs have been carefully remastered for this awaited release.

We bring it to you as a limited, hand numbered edition split in two colours; 115 copies in ultra-clear vinyl and 225 in standard black, housed in a matt finish sleeve with printed inner sleeve full of band pics and including a download code. When effecting your PRE-ORDER, you can opt for an additional silkscreen art print.

Quality music always, lost forgotten jewels in need of a second chance, recently discovered treasures that will see the light for the first time.
